Fee: £57/ child, 10% sibling discount available Suitable age: 6+ MONDAY 29th JULY: STORYTELLING, FILMMAKING and GRAPHIC DESIGN Join us with your friends and learn together about the filmmaking process, while embracing the roles of a production team to create your own film. You and your friends will be the producers, directors, screenwriters, camera operators, editors and, of course, the actors of your film! You will also learn to use graphic design tools to create a poster for your film, as well as a trailer (or even a teaser). TUESDAY 30th JULY: ROBLOX and DISNEY STOP MOTION ANIMATION and GRAPHIC DESIGN with LEGO Use LEGO bricks and beloved characters from Toy Story, Encanto, Jungle Book, and various Roblox games. Create stories for these characters, settings and bring them to life using stop motion animation techniques. You will also learn how to captivate your audience by creating a movie poster, while learning basic notions of graphic design. WEDNESDAY 31st JULY: LEGO ROBOTICS – LEARN ABOUT the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION and HOW ENGINEERING HAS CHANGED the WORLD Join this exciting day and learn how engineers developed accurate clocks to measure longitude, steam engines, mechanical printing, and steam-powered transportation. Build your own LEGO robots inspired by these advancements and explore what the next technological revolution could bring to our world. THURSDAY 1st AUGUST: LEGO HORRIBLE HISTORIES – ROTTEN ROMANS BUILDING LEGO ROADS, BRIDGES and CITIES The ancient Romans were famous builders who left behind many bridges, canals, stone- paved roads, and other engineering masterpieces throughout the Roman Empire. Become an ancient engineer, build roads that lead to Rome, bridges, and cities, while discovering true rotten Roman stories. FRIDAY 2nd AUGUST: LEGO ROBOTICS – FAST CARS Learn about the process of designing and building powered race cars and make your own LEGO race cars go fast. Join us and build your own LEGO Robotics cars and circuits for races, while learning and witnessing the physical forces at work. LEGO robotics car racing is enormously fun and will inspire you to learn while having a brilliant day with your friends.
